A place where showing up matters more than your handicap.
A place where showing up matters more than your handicap.
In 2023, we had a vision: build a real community for Black golfers in Vancouver. Not just a league — a place where showing up mattered more than your handicap.
We run summer tournaments where everyone has a shot at winning — regardless of skill level. We're a community that competes, connects, and gives back through Fairway Futures.

We compete. We push each other. We celebrate every win.
We build for the future through Fairway Futures youth programs.
In 2023, we had a vision: build a real community for Black golfers in Vancouver. Not just a league — a place where showing up mattered more than your handicap.
So we built it.
We designed our tournaments with different scoring systems and team formats so that everyone walks away with a genuine shot at winning. Skill helps, but it doesn't decide everything. The guy shooting 110 stands next to the guy shooting 78, and both of them are in it. That's the point.
Over the summer months, we compete, talk trash, and build the kind of friendships that go well beyond the 18th hole. The community is vibrant — we network, support each other, and find real connection through the game.
We close every season with a Scramble fundraiser tournament benefiting Fairway Futures, a non-profit dedicated to giving underprivileged youth in the Lower Mainland access to golf and everything it teaches.
That's the bigger vision. Community first, then using what we've built to open doors for the next generation.
A non-profit dedicated to giving underprivileged youth in the Lower Mainland access to golf and the life lessons it teaches — discipline, focus, integrity, and perseverance.
Every season we fundraise through our September Scramble finale, raising money that goes directly to youth golf programs in Vancouver. We don't just play for trophies — we play for the next generation.
$100 a year. Every dollar goes toward tournament fees and prizes. No profit. No overhead. Just the game and the people who love it.
Players divide into Team Red and Team Black each round. Three competitions run simultaneously — every golfer is in the running for something.
Total strokes for 18 holes. All players must hole out on every hole. Lowest gross score wins the stroke play prize.
Gross score minus your Callaway handicap deduction. No prior handicap needed. Lowest net score wins.
Points accumulate for your colour team. Eagle=4, Birdie=3, Par=2, Bogey=1. The team with most points wins.
Record your gross score. Use the chart to find your deduction. Subtract. Lowest net wins. Ties broken by: Back 9 → Last 6 → Last 3 → Hole 18. Maximum deduction: 50 strokes.
